Cx Modena Crocetta

The location worked perfectly for me, right between the city center and the event I was attending, with each about a 25-minute walk away. My room was quiet and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast wasn’t quite up to my standards, though many people would probably find it perfectly acceptable. I had a very good stay and would definitely return.

We found the north exit from the train station easiest for reaching the hotel. From the station, go down to the tunnel and follow signs to the north exit, then head upstairs from level -1 to 0 or take the elevator. You can see the hotel from the back exit. It was about a 10-minute walk with luggage. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a kitchenette equipped with a sink, refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, pot, pan, silverware and dishes, everything we needed to heat leftovers. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was cleaned daily. I appreciated that housekeeping changed only the towels we left on the floor. Breakfast was included, with eggs, beans, sausage, cheese, breads, croissants, canned fruit, yogurt, an espresso machine and delicious orange juice, which I think was blood orange. The Esselunga grocery store was about a 3-minute walk away, handy for snacks. It’s a modern hotel with laundry and a gym. Nothing fancy, but it was just right for us.

The center is about a 20-minute walk away, and the hotel is well positioned. Our room was clean and nice, the staff were very friendly, and there were lots of parking spaces. Great stay!

The hotel was clean and close to the train station, but the breakfast costs €7 each and was awful. Better to skip it and eat at a cafe. When food ran out, nothing was replaced, so there was no toast, meat, milk, bread or yogurt. There was no cutlery or paper towels either. I asked at reception, but the woman didn’t seem interested, so I had to get some from the toilet and clean my own knife and fork there. The tables weren’t being cleared and the whole area was a mess, with no staff around to clean it.
