We had a great time here in late August as a group of two families and a dog. The apartment was clean and spacious, nicely furnished, and in a brilliant location.

There were nine of us and we had a wonderful time in this old house, with its huge rooms and two bathrooms, or three if you count the one with just a toilet. It’s right in central Modica on one of the main roads, but has a small veranda for peaceful evenings. A private garage is only a few steps away, which is a real plus in Modica with limited parking and blue-lined spaces. The owners were very kind and helpful. There’s also one of Modica’s nicest bars downstairs, handy for brioche with tuppo and granita at breakfast.
