La Perla di Sicilia 6

We spent two weeks here with our three little girls and had a wonderful time. The bungalows were quite comfortable, and the owners were kind and helpful. It's a small resort, close to both the sea and the town center, and makes a great base for exploring the lovely beaches around Ragusa and other nearby sights.

The owners made us feel welcome and were so helpful. They gave us cherry tomatoes from their garden and lent us a grill, so we cooked excellent meat from a local butcher. The greenery and quiet are lovely, especially in the morning when you can hear the wind moving through the leaves. This Sicilian spot really is a little treasure. There's a small play area where the kids from the villas meet and play, which gives parents a chance to relax. The sea and town center are two minutes away, with supermarkets, butchers, bakeries, restaurants, and ice cream shops nearby. We recommend staying here and will definitely return. A clean complex with everything we needed, plus parking. It's right by the beach and close to everything. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this bungalow complex, it's well worth a visit.

Giorgio and Daniel were excellent hosts, always caring for their guests and helping us with vacation plans, including advice and information about COVID-19. The bungalows are clean and simply furnished, with sheltered, inviting terraces. German TV is available, and Wi-Fi can be booked for a reasonable price. There's a playground, small soccer goals, and a ping-pong table on the property. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented there for a fee, much cheaper than on the beach. Umbrellas are also easy to set up in the designated beach areas. The fine sandy beach is only a few minutes away on foot and slopes gently, which is good for children. La Perla di Sicilia is a lovely little bungalow complex in Marina di Monica, surrounded by palms, shrubs, and flowering oleanders. Marina di Modica is a pleasant place to unwind, with restaurants and ice cream shops. The town's shops and restaurants are a five to ten minute walk away, along a route with a lovely beach view, and you can find what you need there. If you have a car, the nearest cash and carry is also just five minutes away. Modica, Noto, and Ragusa Illa are easy to reach, as are Syracuse and Ortygia, which are well worth a trip. Catania and Mount Etna are also good excursion options. A car is definitely advisable.
