Casa Dolomiti

The kids were especially taken with Mia, the hotel dog, and the pool table and table football downstairs. They rushed down there every day, and we felt comfortable letting our three children, aged 6, 8, and 9, go play by themselves because the hotel felt safe and cozy. The swimming pool was another favorite, while I liked ending the day with a quiet sauna session. Our room looked out over the mountains, so waking up to that view was a treat. The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They were kind and gave us helpful suggestions for places to see nearby. We also liked the location. Moena was beautiful when we visited, though crowded with tourists, and returning to the peaceful hotel was a relief. There are parts of the hotel that feel a little run down, with small maintenance jobs that take away slightly from the stay, though they weren't deal-breakers. We were disappointed that breakfast and the restaurant were closed. The dining room feels deserted now, which is a pity given its potential, and we wondered if it gets livelier in winter. We had a great family stay. With some refurbishment and the shared spaces brought back to life, the place could be fantastic.
