Flos Hotel

The kitchen smell was my one real problem. Each evening after dinner, our clothes kept smelling of food. Otherwise, this small, cozy hotel, which seemed family-run, was comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were friendly. The private spa area was nice, with a steam bath, sauna, shower rooms, and a double jacuzzi. Dinner was surprisingly good, a full four-course meal served in a high-end style, while breakfast was buffet style. The room felt like home, and the only drawback beyond the kitchen smell was that the hotel was a bit far from the tourist attractions.

The staff were helpful in suggesting things to do nearby during the low season, when most places and the lake were nearly frozen. Our room was quite large and comfortable, with a partial view of the Dolomite peaks. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We stayed one night in this standalone building, which has a big parking area and is not far from Moena city. Breakfast was good, though you can only get one coffee per person. I wish I could have had more.

Breakfast was superb, with eggs, cold cuts, sausages, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, and homemade desserts. The cappuccino was easily the best I've ever had. My room was small but neat and very well cared for, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and always ready to help. For my ski trip, the hotel was a 10-15 minute drive from the lift, and the price was very affordable. I recommend Flo’s to anyone travelling through the Dolomites. Thanks for hosting me!

We had a very nice view and the place was easy to find. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfasts were good. We stayed four nights; the rooms were great, though they felt a bit chilly at times. They also work with ski rental shops that offer a discount.
