The mountain view from the pool is wonderful. This seems like a new agriturismo that’s still being optimized. It’s simple and pleasant, and the location is great, but don’t expect a four star hotel.

Good morning. We stayed here this weekend, and I can’t say how run-down and completely non-compliant the place is. It was ugly, old, dirty, and badly maintained. We arrived in the evening and unfortunately couldn’t find another place. I think this property should definitely be closed. We even had to pay to stay in this shack. I had to give it a star because that’s required, but it doesn’t deserve even half of one.

The view is fantastic, and the pool is cool and relaxing, with wooden edges. The smell of the wood brought back memories of “The Sauna...”. It’s surrounded by greenery, and it really feels like a little corner of Sweden in Garfagnana. The place is beautiful and simple in the Swedish style we know well. The owner was kind and very helpful, and treated us very well. In the end, it’s the people who make a place, not the buildings.

The pool is lovely, breakfast was generous, and the setting is stunning. I had a great time and found Mr. Anders very kind and helpful. I’m giving it four stars only because I think the exterior could be looked after better. Otherwise, it’s a great place to relax.

The place could be truly beautiful, and the pool is lovely too, but they could be the best. Breakfast was really stingy, like the true Luccans, and the rooms need renovating. The owner gave me a reservation and then gave my room away.
