We ate at La Veranda, the hotel restaurant, where the menu showcased local produce beautifully, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a tasty buffet with a good range of locally sourced or made items, plus coffee and a few hot dishes served to order. Hotel Posta was quiet, with a ferry station right across from it, making it easy to get around the lake. Secure underground parking and good wi-fi were available too. We stayed for 5 nights in October 2025. Our room (20) was delightful, with a lake view and balcony, tasteful character pieces, a large en-suite, mini bar fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. It stayed pleasantly warm and was serviced well each day. All the staff were welcoming, informative, and helpful throughout. We’d highly recommend Hotel Posta for the warm welcome and quality food. Teresa and Patrizia made everything easy and comfortable, replying promptly to our questions before we arrived. After we left, they even mailed us a pair of glasses we’d accidentally left behind, at no charge. Hotel Posta gave us two lovely, spacious rooms with beautiful lake views and comfortable beds. Breakfast was included and nice, and the hotel is conveniently close to restaurants and the ferry dock. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Como. Highly recommend it.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the homemade breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The staff were so kind and ready to help, which made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed staying here. The location is super convenient, just steps from the ferry dock.

Moltrasio is a lovely, quiet village and doesn’t feel too touristy. The hotel is right in front of the ferry, which makes it easy to visit other lakeside villages, though check the timetable because ferries aren’t very frequent and only run until about 8 PM. The hotel also connects to a bar with outdoor seating for drinks and pizza. We booked dinner there for two evenings and enjoyed all the pasta, meat, and fish dishes. Breakfast was delicious too, with fresh egg dishes, cheeses, and cold cuts to choose from. It’s a beautiful family hotel with warm, kind service. The rooms aren’t very big, but there’s enough space and a beautiful lake view.

If you have a car, Hotel Posta is a good place to stay at Lake Como. I had a wonderful visit in Moltrasio, Italy. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially Teresa, who was incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent too.
