I found the kitchen cabinets and dishes needed cleaning, so I had to vacuum and clean them myself. The apartment seemed dirty as soon as I arrived, and there was a strong smell in the room, probably from the sanitizer under the bathroom sink. The owner never came by, including when I collected the keys from the entrance keyhole. When I raised the cleaning issue, I was told I’d done the right thing by using the vacuum, and that I could leave if I didn’t like it. There was no apology or attempt to find a compromise.

The view was lovely, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. We didn’t get much of a welcome, and several things in the bathroom need attention: the mirror light was burned out, there was mold on the shower tiles, and no mat to dry our feet. The dusty forced ventilation also wasn’t ideal for someone with allergies. In the kitchen, the door leaned to one side and wouldn’t shut. Given these flaws, a small welcome breakfast or even a bottle of water in the fridge would have been appreciated, but neither was included. I wasn’t satisfied.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a lovely view over the lake and a temperature that suited the season. It’s perfectly placed, just a few minutes on foot from the center, the ski lifts, and the lake. The hosts were kind and available. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners were especially attentive, which made this a place I’d gladly recommend. I found the apartment in Molveno a while ago; it was in excellent condition and had a beautiful view of the lake.
