Avoid this place. The rooms are tiny, the furniture is broken, and the bathrooms are extremely small. The food was very average, and it’s a long way from the ski area.

The location near the toboggan run and the lake view were the only good parts of our stay. Our room was cramped and extremely dirty, with a shower and toilet in awful condition. There was even a dead insect that looked like a tick in the closet. The rooms were cold, the drawers kept coming loose, and switching on the hair dryer made the lights go out. The sockets only worked when the lights were on, so we had to leave them on overnight to charge our phones and slept badly. We were there for four nights on half board. The food was poor and unhealthy enough that we ate elsewhere twice, but there was no refund. We were told that once you choose half board at booking, you can’t get a deduction even if you don’t use it. I’ve never heard that rule elsewhere. The New Year’s Eve dinner was overpriced, and several dishes never came. After two hotel dinners in a row, I felt sick, with vomiting and diarrhea. Bread was dry and stale, and wasn’t even served with meals. Breakfast was poor too, with very little left by 9:00. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Reception called to have our car moved while we were still unloading bags, even though it wasn’t blocking traffic. They said it wasn’t parked perfectly within the lines. Reception only opened in the afternoon, so we had to check out and pay the night before departure. The receptionist was rude and wouldn’t split the bill between two people because that would mean issuing two receipts. A stay I wouldn’t repeat. I 100% recommend it.

The location is the hotel’s only real plus. My room was small and gloomy, with packing tape holding the baseboards in place. The tiny bathroom had dated 1970s-style tiles, a leaky shower and fixtures so close together it was hard to move. From the ground-floor window, all I could see was a wall. The room lamp and the bathroom mirror light were both broken. A completely bad experience, and luckily I was there only one night. Not recommended, I wouldn’t return.

I can’t recommend this place. The bathroom, especially the shower, was in terrible shape: water sprayed everywhere, and the door nearly came off its track. Used wet towels left on the floor were simply hung back up instead of being replaced during room service, which seems unhygienic. The wine pricing at the bar was strange. A small glass cost €10, while the same wine in the restaurant was €4. Both places displayed a price list showing €4. The staff generally didn’t seem very friendly, and we rarely saw a smile.
