The bathroom was cramped, with no bidet, cracked shower walls, and a broken showerhead. The room itself was so narrow I had to squeeze past the bed and scrape the wall. There was grime on the walls that badly needed fresh paint, and on my first day the trash can was already full.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay, and I’d come back whenever I need a place in Rome. It’s quiet, clean, comfortable, and good value. The room had air conditioning, a pod coffee machine, a mini-fridge, and even disposable cutlery. There are supermarkets nearby and plenty of street parking.

The owner was especially kind and helpful, and the check-in instructions were clear. Getting in was quick and easy. The property is lovely, clean, and new, in a peaceful residential area close to the center, with lots of parking, which is rare in Rome. Our room was warm and spacious, with everything we needed and plenty of coffee capsules for two. They’d also left a pillow and bowl of water for our four-legged friends. Soundproofing isn’t perfect, but the surroundings are very quiet. Great value, and we’ll definitely return.

I was in Rome for a competition and chose not to make a fuss, even though my stay felt dirty. This Guess Ho use was for a business trip, not a holiday. There was dust everywhere, used soap, and obvious mold in both the room and bathroom. I asked for a cleaning because the dust was so noticeable. The woman kept cleaning while we were in the room, didn’t even rinse, and was done in exactly 3 seconds. It was still dusty afterward. I also found used sugar.
