Wi-Fi was poor, but the room itself was cozy, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a clean bathroom. The hotel was quiet at night, which I appreciated after long days out, and it felt clean and modern. Staff were polite and helpful, with suggestions for places to eat and things to see in Trieste. I stayed at HR Hotel in Trieste for one night. It's a short walk from the central station, and the old town and sea are nearby too. Breakfast wasn't part of our booking, but there are plenty of cafés close by. I'd recommend it for a clean, quiet stay in a convenient spot, and the price felt fair.

We had a great one-night stay. The staff were friendly all around the hotel, and even kept our luggage while we went exploring. Breakfast was nice, with table service due to Covid, which worked better for us with a child. The staff went out of their way to make it a good breakfast. Really lovely place 👌

The room was clean, the staff welcoming, and the location good. Sleeping was uncomfortable, though, because the air conditioning barely worked and couldn't be controlled from the room. The staff seemed unable or unwilling to lower the thermostat. Otherwise, it would've been a wonderful hotel.

We were surprised by how good the breakfast service was. We even offered the woman a tip, then found out she was the owner. The food was delicious, and the hotel felt lovely, cozy, and warm. I'd definitely recommend staying in the heart of Monfalcone.

We only came for dinner, and it was great. The food was fresh and delicious, and service was quick. Nobody spoke English, so have Google Translate ready. It felt very authentic, and I'd eat here again.
