Nice restaurant.

Andrea was so kind, welcoming us and making us feel looked after for the night. The farmhouse is a short distance from central Poirino, which was a handy stop for continuing on to Turin. There’s lots of room, especially for families with kids. My little girl loved the bouncy castle and the friendly geese. They were also really accommodating with food intolerances, and even provided soy milk and yogurt for me. It has a lot of potential.

The response to my complaint about the ants was very good, and staff were courteous and responsive. They took action the next day. But the first day was awful: there were lots of ants in the room, and the AC and Wi-Fi could be improved. The food was good, and overall it was decent value for money.

The food left a pleasant impression, from the appetizers to the homemade pasta, and the dishes were nicely balanced. The wait between courses, though, got close to too long. The place was very busy, with few servers, and we spent most of the day sitting there with no other option. The surroundings look lovely, whether you see them as greenery or as emptiness. There’s a small garden and a room for children, plus plenty of outdoor dining space when the weather is warm. Inside, the furnishings mix modern and vintage, though the coat hooks in the hallways seemed a bit out of place. The bathroom is spacious and divided into separate areas. Given how busy it gets and how few staff there are, I respect the effort and came away with a pleasant impression.
