The residence is kept immaculate by the owners, and the resort town is well suited to families. There's a broad beach with views of the Aeolian Islands and gorgeous sunsets, plus both beach clubs and public stretches of sand. The local bars and restaurants serve Sicilian granita and gelato, along with "schiacciata di Caterina," arancini, and typical Messina focaccia. It's also a handy base for trips along the Tyrrhenian coast, including Milazzo and Capo d'Orlando, or along the Ionian coast as far as Taormina.

Amir welcomed us and was incredibly friendly and attentive. The apartment was spectacular, with modern conveniences and appliances, and both the facilities and location were excellent. I took off a star because it was almost impossible to reach them after booking a week ahead: they didn't return our calls or emails, and we eventually got through on Facebook. The entrance also has a huge pothole and feels dangerous. Apart from that, it’s a typical beach apartment.
