The people were really kind, and the place felt relaxed and easygoing. It’s very close to the airport.

The room was spotless.

Nice place.

The location was excellent, and the room had good temperature control and plenty of hot water. Still, our four-night stay with my husband and elderly parents left us disappointed in both rooms. We had a double room with an external bathroom, while my parents had one with an internal bathroom. Cleanliness was poor: there was hair in the sheets and by the foot of the bed, dust on the furniture, and drain smells in the bathroom even with the windows open. The external bathroom’s window frames also had cobwebs. I only saw the cleaner once. She made the bed, but didn’t clean, change towels, replace the toilet paper we’d used, or leave the complimentary breakfast items. One morning she went into the next room and woke its occupant. I was awake and stopped her in time, since my husband was getting dressed. They should have put up cleaning hours and “do not disturb” signs on the doors. Brand-name personal items of little value went missing from both bathrooms, which was ridiculous. There’s no private parking, and traffic and weekend noise come through the old windows, which aren’t soundproofed. The showers have no shelf for toiletries, so they have to go on the floor, which can be awkward for people with limited mobility. I told the owner about these issues. She was very kind and helpful, but I’d like to see her inspect things more closely and take better care.
