A couple of things to keep in mind if you're coming without a car: arrange a pickup from the train station with the hotel beforehand. It's a short drive, but the walk is steep, even though it's pretty. I'd also strongly consider full board, since dinner was delicious and walking into town for a meal would have been tiring. The hotel is beautiful, high up in the mountains, and very peaceful. Our room had two large windows with great views. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and I wished we could have stayed longer.

We were fortunate to get an upgrade, which we really appreciated. The hotel is lovely and well cared for, breakfast was great, and the set-menu dinner was satisfying. Andreas welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home right away. Liv and Abid were brilliant throughout the stay too. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

Andreas, who seemed to handle everything from managing to cooking, was a huge help and very friendly. He arranged rides to and from the train station and even managed to fit us in for half board one night, though we hadn't booked ahead. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, our room had an amazing view, and the service was great. If you need a ride from the train or bus station, get in touch in advance. There isn't always someone at reception, so calls might not be answered straight away.

Andreas recommended a great trip to Misurina Lake and Tri Come, about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. It turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Staff members speak German and English, and the breakfast was delicious. It's a great choice if you drive an EV. I was able to charge mine for free, though there's only one charging point, so contact them beforehand just in case. The charging service was great.

The only things I'd change are the room lighting and the toilet paper, which could be softer. Apparently a jacuzzi is being planned. We didn't try the hotel's electric mountain bikes, and the hotel is on a steep hill. There's secure underground parking, plus a lounge where you can play a little billiards or work on a puzzle. When the weather's nice, you can enjoy the scenery outside by the fireplaces. The breakfast was great, with plenty of choices, a coffee machine for speciality and regular coffee, and both dairy and non-dairy milk. Don't miss the sauna and swimming pool, or the gym if you still have energy after a day out. This is a stunning new hotel in a quiet, lovely location. Host Andreas was friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived, with everything ready, including the Sűdtirol Guest card, a regional map, and the other information we needed.
