We found this a pleasant place to stay when we visited in September 2023. We had good food at the hotel, and parked in the covered garage. The parking was tight, but my husband managed it. Lago di Braies was close by, and we walked up to a nearby castle for a visit, which cost a few euros each. I'd mentioned that we were celebrating our 25th anniversary, and they had left a bottle of wine in our room.

The family at Hotel Hell clearly take pride in the place. It's centrally located in Monguelfo, right by the shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, too. Their family also runs the butcher shop attached to the hotel. They raise their own meat and work with other family farms in the area for ingredients. Because I have a medical condition and kept odd hours with my ski team, they always made something special for me. I asked for meat and vegetables, and some of it was among the best I've ever tasted. Hans was an incredible host who did everything he could to make my stay memorable. I'd highly recommend Hotel Hell if you're looking for a place in Monguelfo. Thanks, Hans!

The location in this small, interesting town was a real highlight, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Our room and bathroom were spotless and in great shape, and the parking was secure. The staff were so kind, and breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.
