We spent three days at ISCLA at the end of December 2024. The hotel is outside the busy city, surrounded by greenery, with free parking by the river. The family who ran the hotel and restaurant were welcoming, and the food was tasty. Our room was clean, with fresh sheets and clean white towels each day. The elevator was out of order, but the friendly staff carried our suitcases upstairs.

We only had one night here, but the facilities all looked good and breakfast was lovely, especially the hot Italian brioche. The nearby scenery is beautiful, and there’s a secure garage for bikes. Even though we arrived late, the woman at reception was really helpful and friendly.

The restaurant was blasting music and people were shouting until around 3 a.m., so getting any sleep was impossible. At 2 a.m. I gave up, went out to my car, and drove away to sleep. If you need a quiet night, find another hotel.
