Andrea and Anna 👏👏👏. Andrea was professional, attentive to every detail and couldn't have been more helpful during our long stay, always offering advice and being available if we needed anything. Palazzo Fiscaiolo is a top-class place in a very convenient spot in Monopoli's old town. The rooms were spotless and had excellent amenities. Simply the best!

The owner quickly took responsibility when I reported that €200 had disappeared from my key safe on the last evening of my three-night stay, and gave me the money back. So I wasn’t out of pocket, but it was unsettling and raises questions about who could access the safe in a four-room hotel where the owner was the only employee. I’d asked for my room not to be cleaned. Since I’d paid for the room and parking in cash, staff knew I was traveling with cash. I believe I was targeted, and that the amount was chosen so I wouldn’t notice. I would have given Palazzo Fiscaiolo five stars: it’s a beautiful property with great service. Still, I feel I should alert potential guests to this serious security breach. (Stayed Oct 10-13, 2022)
