Palazzo Giuditta

I ended up extending my last-minute one-night booking to two nights after escaping a terrible lodging situation. It was such a lovely stay that I’d happily come back and highly recommend the property. My water-view room was in the same building as the rooftop terrace, a relaxing spot to sit and read. Restaurants were everywhere within a two-minute walk, and the beach was a 20-minute walk away. The room was beautiful, and the location was perfect. Gabriella was a gem of a host. I was there Friday and Saturday, and both nights had a party with loud music outside. The AC mostly covered the noise, and with my separate travel noise machine, I mainly heard it in the bathroom. It didn’t bother me. The rooms are in different buildings and have different feels, so it’s worth confirming where yours is. I’d first booked a ground-floor room that was quite dark and right off the street. Thankfully, an upstairs room opened up and I was able to switch. Mine involved climbing two staircases, which was fine for me but could be difficult for some travelers.

10/10, one of the best places I’ve stayed. The terrace was an amazing surprise, with pools we hadn’t known about.

We came for a short break and found Palazzo Giuditta ideally located, with beautiful rooms. Monopoli is a lovely seaside town, full of character and history, and with great bars and restaurants.

The staff were among the friendliest we met on our trip around Italy, and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms are brand new, and it’s a beautiful place in an excellent location. I’ll definitely book again.
