A quiet spot in the Tuscan hills, away from city bustle, with a distinctive feel as a privately run property. They also sell their own wine and olive oil. Our apartment was larger than we expected, with a fully equipped kitchen, and the big pool with plenty of loungers was a lovely place to relax. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms have no air conditioning and can get quite warm in summer. Montaione is only a five-minute drive away for meals and shopping, and Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, and Florence are all within an hour by car. We found it an idyllic place with space and comfort for a restful Tuscan holiday.

We spent a week here in August and enjoyed the natural setting and the pool. It was large enough for the number of guests, and there were always sun loungers and parasols available. The apartments are separated from one another and each has a private terrace. There's no air conditioning, but the old building's thick walls kept things perfectly bearable. Florence is about an hour away. A beautiful spot in the Tuscan hills.

We spent New Year's Eve here with friends and had a wonderful stay in the peaceful Tuscan hills. The accommodations were comfortable, warm, cozy, and very clean. It's easy to reach by car, and there's a large parking area right at the village entrance. Highly recommended.

It's a charming place, with clean rooms and well-kept shared areas. The owner was genuinely kind and helpful, and you can buy their own wine and olive oil. I'm holding back the fifth star because the room upkeep left me a bit perplexed. The linens and furnishings could use a few more touches. Still, I'd recommend it.
