Lunch on the sunlit terrace came with excellent views in every direction, and the hosts made us feel like part of the family. We had a great time on both visits. The first was truffle hunting with Giovanni and Willy, an authentic truffle hound, followed by a delicious family-style truffle lunch with DonGiovanni red wine. The next day we took a cooking class and made pici pasta and wild boar with beans, with more DonGiovanni red wine, of course. We learned about truffle hunting, making pasta, and hunting and cooking wild boar. We’d recommend both experiences.

The scenery was stunning, and the pool was the best part for us, cool and set against a beautiful panorama, perfect for a dip after sightseeing. We stayed four days and had a great time. On the first day we were kindly offered an aperitif and a tasting of the cellar's wines. Even in the heat outside, the rooms stayed cool. There was no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it; there was a fan for warmer weather.

From its hilltop position, the place looks out over the Val d'Orcia. Donella and Serenella were so helpful and made us feel at home.

At dawn, the sun comes up right over the veranda, and the setting is stunning. We stayed in the "Orfeo" apartment, where five of us had plenty of room. It had two bathrooms with slippers and complimentary toiletries, plus good-quality linens and towels. A great base for popular spots like Montalcino and San Quirico d'Orcia, and more.

This was our third stay at this lovely agriturismo in the Val d'Orcia hills. We’ve enjoyed the warm hospitality, gorgeous views and the delicious products they make each time.
