Luce di Vino

The pool is the best part: clean, quiet, outdoors and surrounded by nature, with loungers, hammocks and tables around it. It’s a lovely place to relax at any time, with plenty of silence. The setting feels like real Tuscany, green and full of fresh air, with stone buildings, cicadas and birdsong. Rooms are elegant, well looked after, air-conditioned and comfortable, with a spacious shower and a full set of towels and soaps. My only small complaint is that the bed felt a bit loose, although the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast in the shared room comes with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills. There’s a generous, varied buffet, drinks are served at the table, and the breakfast hours are quite flexible. The price felt very fair for such a complete, relaxing stay. We’ll definitely come back.

The place is beautiful and unspoiled, surrounded by greenery, and the wine they make is excellent. Il Birbante is an excellent wine line as well. Well done, Giorgio, who was very kind, and his mother was just as kind.

We had a stay to remember and would definitely return. The property is tucked among olive trees and vineyards in a very quiet location, and the owner, Bruno, made sure from the outset that we’d have a pleasant visit. We arrived by motorcycle. There’s so much to like: a garden that’s relaxing just to look at, peacefulness with a capital P, and rooms with nearly everything you could need, including a coffee machine. Guests can enjoy special wines and grappas, and the aqua vitae is fabulous. I’m not sure what else to add. Whoever skips Luce di Vino must have some problem and doesn’t deserve Brunello di Montalcino.
