B&B Corte degli Struzzi

The hosts were kind, but I still didn't have a good stay. I booked through Booking.com and found that things, from breakfast to how the guests and rooms were managed, didn't match what I expected. Maybe my expectations were simply too high. I also feel that two elderly people, however lovely, may not be able to run a hospitality business. Antonello

The rooms felt like charming little apartments, with privacy, all the comforts we needed, and meticulous upkeep. Breakfast was a treat, with homemade cakes and pastries, and Domenica's cooking was simple, fresh, healthy, and delicious. Domenica and her husband, Silvio, welcomed and looked after us so warmly that it felt like staying with our own aunt and uncle. A week went by in a flash. The place has a lovely sense of tradition and simplicity, and you can feel the care they put into everything. We really loved our stay and will be back soon.

A small, well-run place with clean, inviting rooms. It makes for a quiet retreat close to the sea.

The owner was very kind, and the room itself was lovely. Cleanliness needed more attention in the room and in the breakfast areas. Breakfast was limited, and some items made by the owner were put out again several mornings later.
