The location is perfect, right in the centre with an awesome view of the port and the ferries close by. They also give you a pass to park in public spots for just 2€/day. The hotel is great, and the staff are so kind and helpful, they make you feel at home. The furniture is a bit old style, but everything you need is there and it’s very clean. Breakfast has a nice sweet and salty selection, all very good quality. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a good stay and I’d happily come back. It’s a quiet two-star hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. The price was fine, and the harbor is right there, with ferries to "Isola del Giglio" leaving several times a day. Porto Santo Stefano’s center is about a five-minute walk away.

The reception lady was courteous without being too forward, which suited me. Hotel Alfiero is more of a guesthouse, so grand-hotel service isn’t what to expect. Its position just above the Santo Stefano port is a real plus, and the price is fair for what it offers. The place feels a little like the 1950s or 1960s, but that gives it some retro charm. Breakfast is basic, though there’s enough to get the day started. I think the five stars are deserved for the location and for delivering what it promises.

That view was spectacular, and we had a wonderful four nights here. The people running the hotel were kind and helpful, and the cleaning lady kept our room neat every day. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, especially after a long hike. The rooms are a bit dated, though they have what you need. Breakfast could have had a little more variety. For a two-star hotel, though, we were very pleased and will definitely come back.
