We used it as a place to stay while visiting the nearby villages, and it worked well for that. The owner was kind and helpful when we arrived, and was fine with our request to check in around dinner time. The B&B sits in a beautiful location with a stunning coastal view. Our room was very spacious and comfortable for two. Breakfast hasn’t been served for a few months.

The family atmosphere and attentive, polite staff made the evening especially relaxing. There’s lots of space, surrounded by greenery, and children can move around freely and safely. The food was excellent: the regional farmhouse dishes showed off local products, and the pizza was easy to digest. The macaroni with goat was tender and delicate, the pork shank practically melted in my mouth, and the potatoes were freshly cut and fried just right, not frozen. My Roman friends were impressed. A great spot for a laid-back evening with good food.

The outdoor area is spacious and well kept, and the staff were courteous and paid attention to what customers needed. We had a pleasant day here, with only a short wait despite it being Easter Monday. The food is traditional Calabrian, made with excellent local products. Prices are a little above average, though still acceptable overall. I’d come back for a pleasant lunch or dinner.

There’s a lovely terrace with plenty of room, and the service was stylish and discreet. The staff were friendly, polite, and capable. I had the maccarruni with sauce and the pork shank, both with a distinctive flavor. The cuisine has Calabria’s rich flavors, and the price was great too: €25 including wine.

At €60 a night, it gets a third star, and out here in remote Calabria, having somewhere to stay at all is a real blessing. The region is wonderful, though maybe I’m not being completely objective. The last 100 meters are poorly signposted, the place itself isn’t welcoming, and the restaurant was closed. The rooms are huge but very empty, and the tiny TV doesn’t seem to serve any purpose. It’s not much of an experience, but there are hardly any other places around.
