The views from the ridge are breathtaking, stretching far and changing all the time. Scoiattoli B&B sits right at the top, among forest and natural fields. You can walk along the roads linking the towns below, or drive there on the well-maintained paved road. There are always runners doing it every day, much like we walk downtown in our own cities. It may feel remote, but the silence, pure air, wild nature, and lack of internet signal make it enchanting. There are several trattorias and restaurants nearby with truly delicious food. The villa has rooms and a large garden, and the guests are treated with such friendliness and hospitality. It’s a lovely balance: you feel lost in the woods, but not completely abandoned.
