Casale Contessa

We spent the afternoons by the lovely pool, looking out over the hills and olive trees, with nothing but nature sounds around us. It was so relaxing. The farmhouse itself is beautiful, with roomy, clean spaces and rustic furnishings that suit its history. We’ve just come back from Agriturismo Casale Contessa and already want to visit again. It’s a great choice if you’re after peace, countryside, and a warm, genuine welcome.

The apartment we got was comfortable, and the owners made us feel welcome and were happy to help. We booked through a Wonderbox, and the place had a lovely setting. There’s a modern pool with wide views, tucked into the greenery, though the weather meant we couldn’t take a dip.

We’re planning to come back. It’s a lovely spot for a weekend with friends if you want to relax, and the owners are really helpful. The setting is peaceful, with a beautiful vineyard right across from you.

The welcome from the owners was so warm and kind. We had a wonderful stay, easily a 10 out of 10, though two nights felt much too short. The rooms are spacious and nicely equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s a lovely farmhouse for families with children and pets. We hadn’t explored this area before, and I’d recommend staying here if you want to see as much of it as possible.
