You’ll want a car to get here, but the setting is lovely, surrounded by nature with hills all around. The place has a rustic, picturesque feel, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The owner was thoughtful and kind, making a real effort to help us feel at home. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent.

We found this a handy base for our weekend in Monferrato, with a fair price, convenient location, and parking. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with an oven, kettle, and some dishes. Alongside the double bed there was a bunk bed with two extra places, so I can see it working well for a family or a group of friends. The owner was very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed having a good place to sleep and a hearty breakfast.

Breakfast was a real highlight, homemade and generous, with pastries, biscuits, cereals, yogurt, milk, tea, coffee, soy milk, focaccia, mini pizzas, jams, Nutella, fresh mandarins, and more. The owner was lovely and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. We stayed one night at B&B La Gatta and were given a spacious, tidy, clean little apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom. There were extra pillows and blankets, too. A dirt road brings you to the B&B; you can park in the small lot outside or in the private courtyard. The view is hard to miss when you arrive. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.
