We spent eight nights here while my partner was pregnant, and Veronica made the whole stay feel special. She was warm, easy to talk to, and full of useful local knowledge. Her activity tips and restaurant suggestions came from her own experience and her guests’ too. She even adjusted breakfast to suit our preferences and did everything she could to keep my partner comfortable. We had a lot of fun chatting with her and already hope we’ll meet again. The B&B sits somewhere peaceful and scenic, a handy base for exploring Tuscany. San Gimignano, Firenze, Cinque Terre, Pisa and Lucca are all around an hour’s drive or a little more away, though the train is probably best for Firenze. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped. It had air conditioning, but stayed cool enough that we never needed it. We’d happily recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay and would choose this place again if we return. The house and rooms are stylish, beautiful and clean, and the hospitality was wonderful. Breakfast outdoors was a treat, with a lovely view and delicious Italian food. It’s also well placed for visiting northern Tuscany, including Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre and San Gimignano.

We came for the May 1st weekend in 2026 and left feeling completely relaxed. The outdoor areas were wonderful, everything was impeccably clean, and the setting was beautiful. Veronica was so friendly, and breakfast was great. Zelda and the charming Bartolomeo were sweet company too. This place will stay in our hearts. We loved the view over the village of Montecarlo and the hills, with olive trees all around. Veronica was especially kind and helpful, which made this charming place even nicer.

The best part of the stay was how at home Veronica made us feel. She’s attentive, warm and clearly puts a lot of care into every detail, both inside and outside the house. The place has just four or five rooms in a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, but it feels much more like a boutique hotel than a basic B&B. The interiors are tasteful, with quality furnishings, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable that we slept really well. Outside, there’s a porch with tables and sofas and a gorgeous view of the countryside. Breakfast with the hills and Montecarlo in view was a real treat. If you’re after a quiet escape in the Tuscan hills, I’d definitely recommend it.
