Hotel Arnolfo & Aqua Laetitia spa and beauty

We were 40 people on a coach trip, so the breakfast buffet got pretty chaotic. There were no trays, which meant lots of queuing and trips back and forth. Dinner was ordinary, with limited choices, and there were better options in town. Staff started clearing plates before everyone had finished, so we felt rushed to finish.

The food was very nice, and the basic rooms were acceptable. Staff were friendly and easy to approach, and they spoke good English. The main drawback is the small road that coaches can't drive down, so carrying lots of luggage may be difficult. The negative feedback about this hotel is unjustified.

We stayed for three days, and my family and I had a poor experience. Breakfast was limited and the food wasn't very good. Two evening meals were included, but no water came with them. When someone in our group tried to get a glass from the machine, staff switched it off. Bottled water at dinner was the only option, and we had to pay for it. At checkout, they confused us with someone else whose drinks had been charged to their room. Our room number and the name on the bill were both different, but we got no apology. They insisted we'd bought a drink, even though we hadn't spent a penny. We showed our names and room details, but they kept saying we were different people, shouting and speaking rudely. I understand there can be a language barrier, but that didn't make the way they treated us okay.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly, and our room was clean. It's a well-kept hotel at a fair price, though it's not luxurious. The location is handy for exploring the area, and the air conditioning worked well, so we had a pleasant stay. I'd suggest booking a deluxe room if you want enough space.
