We were here on a graduation trip, and the place was desperate. The rooms didn’t look anything like the pictures, the lights didn’t work, and everything smelled of mold. Hygiene was poor. Tap water came out yellow, and dinner was disgusting, looking like breakfast leftovers. Bugs turned up in the bedding in one room. The staff were rude and extremely unprofessional. Nobody spoke English, and they were yelling all the time. Two people even got stuck in the elevator, which is meant for four and was in a desperate, prewar state. Half the rooms apparently use the same key, so anyone with that key can get in. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

We had to change rooms because ours was filthy when we arrived. Room service only made the bed, without replacing towels or toilet paper. The staff were rude and just wanted to argue. When we paid the tourist tax, they refused to give us a receipt and handed over a random slip saying “tax 2 euro” instead. Very stubborn and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this even to my enemy. Save your money!

The rooms feel just as dated as that Soviet-era cafeteria worker, who was extremely rude. Ask her for something and she’d either say no or tell you to get it yourself. The air conditioning was very noisy, and kitchen staff clattered pots and pans late into the night and again early in the morning, making it hard to sleep. It felt like we weren’t welcome.

The staff were so rude. When my friend became unwell, they refused to clean up and told us, “Clean it up yourself or sleep in the vomit, as you prefer.”

The room was unbearably hot, and I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. The AC did absolutely nothing. The worst part, though, was the restaurant waitress, who was disrespectful and no help at all.
