Hotel Redi

We came away feeling at home after a week in Montecatini. Kanthi's warmth and care made the stay for us. She runs everything and looks after you from the moment you arrive. The rooms are a bit old, as we've noticed is common in Italy, but kept VERY CLEAN, and the bathrooms and showers were clean too. The beds looked questionable at first, but we ended up liking them and found them comfortable. The price was very reasonable, especially for a 3-star hotel, and we knew not to expect a lot from the facilities. Breakfast was simple and mostly traditional sweet fare, though salty options were available if you asked. There was plenty of fruit, and Kanthy was always there to make a cappuccino exactly how you like it, plus an extra espresso if you need one. Trattoria di Gina is a great little restaurant right downstairs, serving great Italian “nanna's” food without a long walk. I added photos of the food and the hotel's morning coffee below. Parking was convenient if you're driving, with free spaces if you can find one on that or nearby streets, or paid parking for 3 Euro per day.
