The meal was a lovely stop on the Silent Villages Trail. We enjoyed pesto pasta, Melezzolana-style suckling pig, and tiramisu, all delicious, in a simple, homely dining room. Since we were staying in Melezzole and the agriturismo is a little out of town, the owner kindly arranged a ride both ways and saved us a long walk.

There’s a decent farmhouse here, but it feels neglected and badly maintained. The rooms are bare, and basic things are missing or unusable, including a broken shower and no hairdryer. I wasn’t impressed by the dinner served on site either. It wouldn’t take much, I think, to make a stay here considerably better.

We came here to stay after the first stage of the Silent Villages trail, and meeting Elisa and her family was a real pleasure. They made us feel so welcome. It’s wonderfully peaceful, dinner was authentic, and breakfast came with excellent homemade desserts. A charming place for getting back to a more genuine kind of experience.

The owners were so welcoming and even let us leave our tent in the garden and use the shower. It’s a beautiful farmhouse in a very picturesque setting. A great stop if you’re camping along the Silent Villages Trail.

Dinner was good and generous, especially the Melezzolana-style suckling pig, and the dining room felt very welcoming. Breakfast was basic. It’s just a few steps from Melezzole, though the rooms are rather bare and the outdoor shared areas aren’t well kept. Unfortunately, I didn’t always feel comfortable there.
