Tiziana and Simone, the owners, and their family were so hospitable. Their kindness made my family and me feel welcomed and looked after from the start. They helped with everything, including my parents’ dietary needs and finding medical care during their stay in these beautiful mountains. We had full board at the restaurant in the residence, where they took great care with the food and used quality local, seasonal ingredients. The home-style cooking was thoughtful about both flavor and nutrition, and made us feel at home. Our apartment was quiet, independent, and well stocked. It was also handy to reach the restaurant without leaving the property, especially for guests with limited mobility. We’ll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to Tiziana and Simone and their family for helping us have such a lovely summer in the Apennines.

We loved staying at Residence Giardino under Tiziana and Simone’s new management. Having our own separate apartment gave us freedom, and it was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. We could also use the bar and restaurant, though you need a reservation. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh croissants and pastries in different flavors, pizza, gnocco, and lots of other choices, all served with the owners’ kindness. The bar has delicious artisanal ice cream in the evenings too. At the restaurant, the all-you-can-eat gnocco and crescentine were excellent, the stew was delicious, and prices were very reasonable. The mountain views are beautiful, and the location makes it easy to visit nearby places in the Apennines. The owners were always helpful and suggested places to go. It works well for families and small children, with nearby Castagni Park and lots of summer events. Reception has flyers with the full program. We got our daughter the “Apennine Passport” at the town’s tourist office and can’t wait to return and collect more stamps at the various Apennine stops. Highly recommended for a short break from the city too, the weather is always pleasant.

It’s close to services and the center, with a setting surrounded by greenery in the Chestnut Park, protected by UNESCO.

Since the management changed, the difference is clear: everything is clean now, including rooms and shared spaces. The apartments have what you need, including TV and Wi-Fi, and the furnishings and dishes are well washed. The location is excellent, with parking and a handy bar for breakfast. The quality for the price is excellent too. If you expect perfection in every detail, you should choose the Grand Hotel.
