The host family were so friendly and hospitable, and I got to practise my beginner Italian with them. I really enjoyed my stay at the Agriturismo last month as part of a Road Scholar program. The meals were terrific, and the short, scenic walk to Montefalco made it feel like we'd found a hidden gem. I hope I can return someday.

The food was a highlight, especially dinner, which was one of my favorite meals in Umbria. The drinks were excellent too. It was our first time staying at the agriturismo and eating at the restaurant, and the location, rooms, and service were all perfect. Everything was very clean, they even offer laundry service, and the pool was great for my kids. Thanks!

Most of the food was good, though we liked some dishes more than others. One order wasn't handled carefully: my friend had specifically asked to leave out an ingredient, but it was included. The waitress offered to replace the dish after we mentioned it, but the new one still had traces of that ingredient. I think they could have dealt with this better.

The ragu, truffle scrambled eggs, and wine-braised pork chops were all full of flavor and felt true to Umbria. This was probably the best meal we had during our two weeks here. The staff were warm and friendly, and the whole experience felt relaxed and genuine. I regret skipping the tiramisu, it looked incredible. Next time I won't make that mistake. Carmiano Piccolo is a must for a proper taste of the region.

The grilled meat was amazing, and Ricardo, the son, gave excellent advice on local wines, Truffle, and visits. Giuseppe, the father, was helpful too, and the mother and daughter were so nice. We spent a week here in early July with our family. It's very quiet, with spectacular views, and Montefalco is a 15 min walk away, with excellent restaurants. A great base for discovering Umbria's most impressive sites. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we had a wonderful stay.
