The apartment, La Grotta, stayed comfortable and cool even when it was very hot outside. It's in a great spot within walking distance of Montefalco, in the truly unique little hamlet of Camiano. Andrea, Carolina, and their children made our vacation unforgettable with their thoughtful, attentive hospitality. They make cured meats that you can buy in their shop near the B&B, and I recommend trying them, as well as their restaurant in Montefalco. The people and their welcome made the landscapes around Montefalco feel like just the backdrop. Recommended for dog owners and lovers!

The owners were so kind and helpful during our stay at B&B La Noce. It's a charming, peaceful place among olive orchards, with lovely views of the countryside from the window. The outdoor pool is a nice extra, and the beautiful town of Montefalco is nearby.

The breakfast was a highlight, with homemade cakes, delicious croissants, and coffee better than what I've had in plenty of downtown Milan bars. If you'd like something savory, just ask and they'll bring it. The walk into Montefalco is about 900 meters, though it's a decent uphill hike. One drawback: they don't clean the room every day, and I'd personally prefer a room in a five-star hotel. Still, the simple style, warm welcome, peaceful setting, and colors everywhere made up for it. The pool wasn't usable when we were there, but it looks like a lovely spot for summer. Thank you to Andrea and his kind wife. You can also have lunch or dinner at the Signora's in Montefalco. Would we stay again if we're passing through? Count us in.
