We came here for Easter Monday lunch yesterday, and it was delicious. We'd stayed a few times many years ago while our own property was being renovated. It's been ages since we last came just for a meal, but we'll be back.

A favorite summer beach escape. The hills are cooler and less crowded, and the best plan is to enjoy the fixed-price lunch, then lounge by the pool until dinner.

The food deserves a big mention, and so do the history, the idea behind this place, and the people who made it. Just fabulous. We've had memorable holidays here more than once, though part of me would rather keep it secret so it doesn't get overhyped.

The value for the price is excellent. The food, service, and location are all great, too. We were welcomed warmly and got really good advice. The pool has a fantastic view, breakfast is plentiful, and dinner is varied and generous. The wine was delicious as well.
