The hotel feels a little old, but it’s super clean and the staff are kind. The restaurant is one of the best around, with high-quality food, attractive presentation, and lots of choices.

It’s a very large restaurant, though still cozy and traditional. We ate there during the week and watched fresh pasta with mushrooms being made as a demonstration, then served at our table. The place specializes in meat, with generous portions, potatoes, vegetables, and lovely red wine.

I came for a good lunch and ended up enjoying three hours of food and tradition. The host clearly cares about both, and it was a pleasure hearing him explain the history of the different dishes. A wonderful place for genuine regional food with high quality and authentic flavor.

We spent Easter lunch here, and I haven’t had this much good-quality food in a decade. The meal went on for over four hours, with a magician and other entertainment. It’s mostly traditional food, and the key dishes are introduced to guests over a microphone. The asado was especially tender. It was a joy to watch the tagliatelle/campofilone tossed with sauce on a wooden table in the middle of the room before it was served.
