This is a lovely, well-established campsite. The pitches are level, have electricity, and sit under mature trees that give plenty of shade. Stay three nights or more and access to the pool and Jacuzzi is free. The pool is Olympic-sized and warmer than many indoor pools in the UK. There’s beach volleyball, football, tennis and table tennis to play. The weather seems likely to be this good most of the time, around 30 degrees at midday. The showers and toilets are fine, including English-style sit-down toilets. The WiFi works, which has made my teenagers happy. We’ll come again.

After visiting more than 10 campsites in Italy, this was easily my worst experience. The prices for a pitch are ridiculous, they add high-season surcharges when every other campsite is using low-season prices, and the extra charges are disclosed in a sneaky way. It’s really irritating. The service is mediocre at best. I’ll never stay here again.

There was plenty of room for our tent, and the location was useful since there are few other campsites nearby. The downside was the high price, plus extra charges for the swimming pool. The sanitary facilities were out of date.

The pool was great, but the campsite itself feels dated. The toilets and showers need an update, and the price doesn’t match the quality.

There was lots of space even in mid-August, and the price was low. The showers need to be cleaner, with the spider webs wiped away, and the toilets should have seats instead of just a hole.
