Agriturismo Casavecchia

The homemade cakes and jams at breakfast gave us a lovely start and the energy to keep walking. We stayed at the Casavecchia farmhouse while doing the GABA route, and Marco and his family gave us a warm welcome. They also made us a generous, tasty dinner with produce from their garden, and their company made it even nicer. The apartment was spacious and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The village has a special outlook over the Sibillini mountains, and stopping at the Casavecchia farmhouse made our walk even better. The whole family welcomed us warmly. Our place was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had what we needed to rest. Signora Teresa made us a delicious dinner and an excellent breakfast. Thank you! You can combine stages 2 and 3 from Venarotta in one day, then continue with stages 4 and 5 to Acquasanta the next day.

The view from the terrace was lovely, and breakfast came with excellent homemade cakes and jams. We stayed one night after hiking near Castelluccio di Norcia in the Sibillini Mountains. Marco greeted us with unusual kindness and suggested a great local trattoria for dinner. The room was simple, spotless, and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. We really appreciated the hospitality and the determination to rebuild after the earthquake. Thank you, and well done. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely return!
