The sunrise and views from the apartment were fantastic, and there are some lovely walks nearby. On one mountain path towards Montemonaco, we walked for four hours without seeing another person. The apartment itself was excellent, with everything we needed, including two large bedrooms with mirrors and plug points. Breakfast costs 8 euro, which feels far too cheap for what you get, so I really recommend it. Nadia runs it with her mum, who's such a kind woman and will do anything for you. Her homemade cherry jam was incredible. Nadia also makes honey, and honestly it's the best I've ever had, with a glorious taste unlike any honey I've tried before. Amandola has a good supermarket and restaurants, while Montemonaco has a great bakery, restaurants, and a little supermarket. The orchids are meant to be fantastic in late May, and we hope to come back then.

Nadia and her family made us feel very welcome at Agriturismo Le Castellare, and they know the area well. It’s a quiet, beautiful place among the flowers and mountains. There’s plenty to enjoy locally, including cultural and food experiences, and apparently a star restaurant a short drive away. If you fancy the beach or a city, you can reach the coast or the atmospheric, authentic city of Ascoli Piceno in about an hour. Thanks, Nadia, for a lovely stay. We’d love to return in June to see Piano Grande in bloom.

Nadia and her family were so welcoming and hospitable, and we had a fantastic week at Le Castellare. It was perfectly placed for exploring the sibillinis, and Nadia's ideas for walks and places to see really made our holiday. Thank you so much!

We were a family of four and spent five nice nights here. The surroundings are wonderful, with short and longer hikes to choose from. The weather wasn't great for us, but Nadia's tips helped us put together a good program. Our apartment was clean and practical. Breakfast was great, with homemade sweets, crackers, cookies, and coffee. The kids also had a nice playground and plenty to explore.

We loved the chats with Nadia's parents over delicious breakfasts, and the clean rooms had lovely views and felt like home away from home. Nadia was a great help with arranging the booking, answering our questions, sorting out dinner plans, and suggesting hikes nearby. We can't wait to come back. You can really feel the spirit of Le Marche here in the Sibillinis.
