Villa Giò

Giovanni and Teresa made us feel at home with their genuine welcome and constant care. They were always around to suggest places to visit, eat, and ways to enjoy the area. Breakfast was the best I've ever had, full of authentic, carefully prepared food. At Villaggio Cristina, everything from the rooms to the garden is thoughtfully maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable. It's a lovely, relaxing setting for a quality stay. I’ll treasure the experience and will definitely be back.

The people who run this place are the real highlight: the lovely Mr. Giovanni, Mrs. Teresa, the other ladies, and of course their dog, Frida! Villa Gió Cristina is a peaceful little retreat with views of both sea and mountains. There’s a pool area, the rooms are spotless and have every comfort, and breakfast is generous and varied. It’s a wonderful place to step away from everyday routines. I’d go back without a second thought.

We’ll definitely be back, this is the kind of place that stays with you. When we checked out, they even left us a small gift. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and had both sweet and savory options. Each morning we met the lovely Mr. Giovanni, who talked us through the locally sourced ingredients and shared tips about the area. Cristina welcomed us, explained everything, and suggested things to do, from trabocchi and coves to restaurants. The place feels intimate, romantic, and welcoming, and the spacious, elegant rooms all have French windows facing the pool.

We planned to stay for just a couple of days, but liked it so much that we extended our visit. The setting is beautiful, with views over the hills and sea, and Vasto, a lovely little town with great views and plenty of places to eat, is only a short drive away. The pool is something special, kept immaculate and cared for down to the smallest details. We spent whole days there in complete peace. Bar prices were very reasonable, and they even serve you under the umbrella. Mr Giovanni was always there if anything came up, and his wife and the whole staff were consistently kind and helpful.
