It's worth remembering that Borgo Poggiardelli is an apartment, not a hotel. The restaurant next door is only a minute away on foot and is very good for lunch or dinner. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the cleaning staff were so committed, friendly, and polite. The kitchen was fully stocked, even with biscuits and coffee for the first morning. Michele was a superstar, making all the guests feel at home and suggesting places to visit. He even made reservations at popular restaurants.

The apartments are extremely clean, beautifully finished, and very well equipped. There's also a spacious, secure, clean garage that's handy to have. The pool is lovely too. Just know that meals aren't provided, though there's the nearby Poggiardelli restaurant, which is closed on Mondays. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The location near Montepulciano is scenic and has all the amenities we wanted for a comfortable stay, with wonderful Tuscan atmosphere. Michele at reception was great. He greeted us with espresso and some thoughtful suggestions for local places to visit, and made our late check-in easy with a smile. He was always there when we had questions, and I really enjoyed chatting with him about culture, tennis, and Italy.

There were so many dogs and children around, which was lovely to see. It's also a good base for tours, and Montepulciano is great. The property was fantastic, very clean, with a good pool and a fully equipped apartment and kitchen. We could use the barbecue, washing machine, and dryer.
