La Pennichella

Everything was just right, and we’ll definitely come back. The room was spacious and immaculate, with brand new furnishings, and the bathroom was also new, clean, and roomy. The owner was kind and helpful.

We stayed for just two nights and had a really pleasant time. The owners were warm and kind, and nearby bars, restaurants, and a supermarket are all an easy walk away. It’s quiet and peaceful, with plenty of free parking. Rooms are new and clean, and the feel is intimate and comfortable. There’s a green outdoor area with an inflatable pool, loungers, and umbrellas. For breakfast, the rooms have a coffee machine with different pods for coffee, milk, tea, and ginseng, plus fruit juice, toast with jam and Nutella, and assorted snacks and tarts. Highly recommended.

The real surprise was the pizza at the bar-pizzeria next door, which is under the same management. Their pastries are good too. Outside the rooms there’s a pleasant little garden with deck chairs and loungers, plus a large gazebo with tables and chairs where you can work, read, write, or chat in the shade. The room was spacious, clean, and new or well maintained, with plenty of fresh linens. The bathroom was large and the shower comfortable. A great place to stay near Montereale.

I stayed last night and found the place fantastic, with warm, very clean, spacious rooms and large bathrooms. The owners were really kind and helpful, and even though we arrived late, the owner offered us a nice hot chocolate. It was wonderful and very cheap. Since we’re afraid of earthquakes, we felt reassured by the place being up high and earthquake-proof. Beautiful, highly recommended.
