The view from the olive trees was great, though the parking blocks barely gave us enough room to level the car. We stayed for one night at the end of November, when the restaurant was closed. The sanitary facilities felt outdated, and there wasn’t even a toilet seat.

The room itself was clean, roomy, and fine. The facilities were another story: breakfast was very basic, the shop was practically useless unless you wanted wine, and getting a coffee when you felt like one wasn’t possible. I’d call the setup half-assed. The dog barking all night was the worst part. There’s little help for anyone who doesn’t speak Italian, so bring a phrase book. If you’re camping in a tent or van, don’t expect supplies such as camping gas.

The rooms were very clean, but the camper facilities were poor. The pool wasn’t really usable for us: it’s across a busy road in an overgrown field. One of the owners’ two dogs barked often, including at night, which was very annoying. This place could be much better with relatively little effort. Earlier reviews have mentioned the poor camping facilities too, so I assume the owners aren’t concerned. We had family staying partly in rooms and partly in a camper van.

I parked our camper in an olive garden, and the setting was lovely. The pool is nice and surrounded by nature, though there were lots of mosquitoes around it. It’s about 200 metres away, across the main road and up a small climb. Service could be better, and the toilets were very poor and difficult to manage with children.
