The gravel road up to this remote spot is steep, so be prepared, but don’t let it put you off driving in. Once there, the quiet and the views are lovely. The host lives in the same building and was very kind, available for any questions, and genuinely hospitable. It’s a beautiful old building in a rural Tuscan setting, close to Siena and well placed for nearby places like San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino, and Montepulciano. Firenze and Orvieto also work for a day trip. We found it comfortable and equipped with what we needed. The sanitation was good and clean, the bedrooms spacious, and the interior nicely restored while respecting the building’s old character. There’s also a pleasant garden for relaxing or having an evening BBQ. A magical place to experience Tuscany.

A countryside apartment in a great spot for nature lovers. Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano are all about 30 minutes away. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The setting was relaxing and welcoming, and the house was clean and really lovely. Constantino was very kind and attentive to what we needed.

At night the Milky Way is stunningly clear. The host was very welcoming, and the scenery is beautiful and peaceful. They also have their own wine cellar, and the landlord is a winemaker.
