Albergo Al Carugio

Andrea was such a gentle, kind host. He explained the city and gave us a document packed with tips and information. The room was spotless, and the towels smelled so nice. I loved the blackout on the window because it made the room completely dark and let me sleep in 😅. It's on the Main Street in the old town, close to the best restaurants, but far enough away to avoid noise. Really good value for the money.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bathroom had the best, biggest shower of anywhere we stayed during our two weeks in Italy. Getting there from the parking garages was easy, and the place was quiet. We stayed July 13-16, 2025, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, they felt like a second family. Andrea was especially accommodating. He let us choose a room and was available at any hour. If we're back in Cinque Terre, we'll stay at Albergo Al Carugio again.

Andrea was super friendly, and Lorenza at reception was lovely too. The location made it easy to get to the beach, train, and pretty much everything else. I really enjoyed staying here and would love to return.

Andrea made us feel welcome and comfortable as a younger couple traveling. Everything was set up so we could manage on our own, and he was happy to answer our questions about the area and Italy in general. The room had lots of useful extras: towels, a hair dryer, extra blankets, a mini fridge, TV, and a rack for drying clothes outside the window. We could also ask for beach towels, which was great. It may not be fancy, but it had everything we wanted, including a clean bed, shower, and A/C. It's far enough from the main center to stay quiet day and night. We'd love to come back.
