You’re just a few minutes from the train station, with an easy, pleasant walk and no hauling luggage up endless steps or hills. That makes it a great base for seeing Cinque Terre by train. The beautiful beach is basically right there too, with bars, restaurants, and a nice playground for kids nearby. Breakfast was pretty nice.

The place has a vintage feel, though the building looked very old and the room was very small. That style may suit other people, but it wasn’t for me. Cleanliness was good, and the included breakfast was OK. There’s a lift to the upper floors, and the train station is within walking distance. Water, tea, and coffee weren’t provided as they are at other hotels.

Even after we told the waitress repeatedly that we had severe allergies, everything was cross-contaminated. If you have allergies or food sensitivities, don’t go to this restaurant. The staff were careless and incompetent. They should be fired.

I never actually stayed here: I’d booked the right days but in the wrong month, and only noticed when they sent the check-in instructions and asked when we’d arrive. They had no availability for our real travel dates. When I called, though, they suggested other places and helped me get a refund. I’d read that many hotels in Italy don’t offer refunds whatever the reason, so I was pleasantly surprised by their help. They were super nice, and I’ll definitely try to stay here next time I’m in the area.
