This was supposed to be a “luxury villa experience,” but it felt like wasted potential after a long stretch of neglected maintenance. The place is advertised as 60’s & 70’s retro. If missing bed sheets, curtains, and toilet paper, along with lots of broken things, counts as 60’s & 70’s retro, then it fits. You may also have to share with ants, spiders, bugs, and lizards, and I’m not sure what level of cleanliness is considered acceptable here. Some areas look like they haven’t been cleaned properly in a long time. Don’t be taken in by the staged photos. If you want a Gilligan’s Italy experience, this is the place for you.

The accommodation is set in beautiful Tuscan countryside, close to the coast and historic towns. It’s an excellent choice for families or groups.

The pool rounds out this beautiful villa, tucked into the countryside where it’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
