The bruschetta was so hard I could barely bite it, and the tour itself didn't give me a reason to recommend it. It felt like a standard, cookie-cutter experience, with little attention to detail, no distinctive wines, and no engaging stories. Sonnino presents itself as an historic, influential Chianti winemaker, so I expected something more carefully put together. If you want manicured grounds, restored buildings, and fascinating accounts of how the wine is made, I'd look elsewhere. I've traveled for wine plenty, and my advice is to skip this tour.
